About The Author

Dr. Laura Wood Alexander wrote her first children’s picture storybook when her children were preschool age. As a speech language pathologist, her enjoyment in reading books to primary students led to a desire to write picture storybooks for preschool to early elementary students.  Since 2005 Laura has published six picture storybooks. Her books integrate fun rhyming stories with concepts to improve speech and language skills.

Laura writes under her pen name, Dr. Wood.
